Ohh - another idea - for kids who have to have blood draws, little animal shapes or something in the tubing as a distraction from what's going on. Like a silly straw. Never could convince my kids not to look while it was happening, so better to give them something different to look at?

Date: 2009-04-04 08:43 am (UTC)I have all this tiny tubing around from my insulin pump, and I have thought to braid it or weave it and heat-seal colored water inside, but this is a million times better! The beads of fluid making their journey around... fascinating.
