So FaceBook has been all atwitter about that article about why parenting sucks, and ( I have some thoughts about it. )

TL;DR: No, I don't think parenting is supposed to make us deliriously happy. But I don't think it has to make us miserable, either.

So generally I do my best to practice a respectful version of parenting. I try not to set up situations that will wind up with draconian results. ( Musings on motherhood... )

Was it the right way to go? I guess only the kids' therapists will know for sure.
