Flash dance
Jun. 28th, 2008 01:09 amOne of the coolest parts of living in the midwest is the thunderstorms. It took a while to get used to the immense power of these systems, but now I love watching them march over us, grumbling and rolling while throwing nearly constant flashes of light. This is just a few seconds of a storm that lasted at least an hour. Bill, Clay and I were out staring at these huge rippling jagged veins of light for quite a while. There was no rain, and no strikes that we could see... the lightning just seemed to leap from cloud to cloud over and over. Watch for the ball lighting at the very end of the clip!
