We made it home before dark, with heavy but fast traffic and several exciting thunderstorms to navigate. We made it to Uncle Bill's Pancake House this morning, and were flabbergasted at the fantastic food... the bacon was thick and smoky, the buttermilk pancakes hot and tangy, and the coffee was delicious... a fantastic breakfast place that I knew MY Bill would LOVE. We stopped at the Global Foods Market coming back through the west end of StL and marvelled at the spectacular range of odd edibles from all corners of the Earth. Then we hit I-70 heading west and zoomed home.

Been just paging through the newspapers and zoning while Bill plays with Linker. Ahhh, good to be back in my nest again! Pix soon....
