Thanks, everyone, for your encouragement and good wishes through last week's bleak moments.

My sister flew out for Easter weekend, and pretty much whipped the house into shape. We also had some fun with the holiday, and eating out, and just hanging out. That helped a lot... you rock, 1firefly!

Another friend has been calling and checking in on me, and we got together today to just gab and let our hair down. That was also a really nice thing... to know folks still want to hang out with me, even when I'm in such a rotten mindspace.

I'm not going to get into great details here... I really should have flocked that other post, but since I didn't, I'm leaving this one open so those who commented there can see that I'm not quite such the nutcase now that I was. Well, maybe just higher-functioning or something. But better...

Still, if you'd like to get onto the friends list, but are mystified as to the ways of LJ, give me a holla and I'll help you through it.

wonderful pics. I can hardly wait until next week when I will be there. The flowers should still be in good shape and surely all of you will be also.

sadly, the flowers were all hit by the frost (and there's another hard frost, with snow, due in this weekend). we got a few magnolias, but the redbud and dogwood were slammed mid-bloom. the tulips and daffodils looked great for about a week, but now they're all withered and snapped and sad.

the potted flowers are all still stationed in the garage, with time off midday for good behavior. but i'm afraid all you're gonna get in the plant department is green grass and dandelions.
