(I try not to double post too often in this journal and my food journal, but this is something I'd like to spread around a bit. Feel free to copy into your own journal if you think this is a good idea!)
Over at Chez Pim, they've kicked off the third annual Menu for Hope campaign (last year, $17,000 was raised for UNICEF; this year the beneficiary is the UN World Food Programme).
Here's how it works: a whole bunch of very generous food bloggers who have donated a pile of interesting, delicious and useful prizes. People like you and I go drool over these prizes, and then buy raffle tickets at $10 apiece, choosing which prize we'd like to sign up for. On January 15, the raffle winners are chosen and the money heads on its way to a good cause.
Go check it out!
