Day 1 - Pride. Seven great things about yourself.
Day 2 - Envy. Seven things you lack and covet.
Day 3 - Wrath. Seven things that piss you off.

1. Red-light runners (endemic in KC, but not so bad here in Chicago).
2. The dozens of empty parking spaces all over Chicago that sit for hours with an old broken kitchen chair blocking it, preventing anyone else from using the space. (For those who don't live here: this practice is called "dibs" and it's tolerated because apparently spending some time with a snowblower or shovel means that space is yours for eternity.)
3. Dealing with our labyrinthian health insurance.
4. People who lie to me.
5. People who steal from me.
6. The fact that money interests trump common-sense things like civil rights, our environment and health care (ie, the anti-gay marriage movement, big pharma vs. medical marijuana, oil vs. electric cars, and AMA vs. midwifery)
7. In general, people who display a sense of entitlement instead of cooperation and compassion, leaving a mess behind them and not caring who has to deal with it.

Day 4 - Sloth. Seven things you neglect to do.
Day 5 - Greed. Seven worldly material desires.
Day 6 - Gluttony. Seven guilty pleasures.
Day 7 - Lust. Seven love secrets.

OK, today's list felt more cathartic than yesterday's, so I'll keep it up.

Definitely with you on the entitlement issues. Basically all the ones you've listed are essentially entitlement, aren't they? (Well, maybe not the insurance. That's just inefficiency.)

I've been trying to decide if i want to do this meme. It is interesting.
I agree that the negative ones could be hard - i generally find it is better not to concentrate on these things.
7 things seems like a lot.

We had overlap at your #4 and 5. #1 similar but I am more pissed at pedestrians than drivers because they can cause me to kill them. We don't get so many red light runners, more people who change lanes to cut you off. That happens to me several times a day. #3 and #7 also piss me off. #2 I will override when necessary; my screaming mantra since the first blizzard (snow is still on the ground from it over a month later) is "Call the cops, they'll tell you whether I can park here!"

The parking space thing is just local rules. Some things, you just have to adapt to.
