No more cookies

I was invited to braid last-minute at the Gaia Community's Longest Night ball. I couldn't find a single one of my albums, though, so nobody knew what I could do, and only braided four people (one was the charming popefelix, a new reader... welcome!). I got home to find that the little guy had caught the stomach bug going around, and spent the next few hours helping him through it. Around 4 a.m., Clay was hit. Then Bill and me, last night. It seems to burn through fast, but while you're in the grip of it... no fun. I hate hate hate barfing.

Julia's plane got delayed a few days, but she's here safe and sound now. Thanks for sheltering her, hahathor! I'm hoping we quarantined ourselves quickly enough to prevent her from getting the bug...

I feel like I have a lot to say, but my mind is like a steel sieve at the moment. How about just wishing all my LJ buds a happy holiday?
