lovely drawings done during our first wonderful breakfast at the
thomas'... on the left, an original Matilda, and on the right, a
duckling and a rainbow by Izzy (made by request due to a dream i had!).
too short a visit, but they were so kind to offer shelter on such short
notice.

then a fabulous visit with corva and her sweetie, shelby, during second
breakfast at gravy on mississippi... delicious and nutritious, and the
food wasn't bad either! too short, too short, but rental car companies
wait for no woman...

a few stops for gas and puddle jumping, then a bit of a hairy drive in
the dark up to grant's pass with trucks whooshing by on the
downgrades... now to dabble in the super8 pool with my trooper boy (who
thinks ice machines in hotels are da bomb!).

still can't easily get to gmail or lj for comments... hoping perhaps to
beg sf-area folks for a gathering this weekend once i get the car and a
quick visit with julia, anyone still willing to go for it? (time is less
of an issue now that i'm not flying... we can dawdle a bit once we've
got the car, i'll be calling folks for crash space soon, can't wait to
see you!)
