Bad news/good news, and a CA trip!

The bad news: it hit me, too. At about 6 a.m. this morning. Whaa!

The good(ish) news: I don't seem to have it nearly as bad as any of the boys did, and I do have to be grateful that it didn't hit until after I made a nice dinner for everyone yesterday. It's moved through us all on a two-day pattern... I wonder what made me feel so crappy on Monday? Fortunately, Bill doesn't have to work today, and Linc's been really good about not clambering all over me.

I'm up to a few sips of water, so I'm hoping the worst is over. Good lord, it's almost 4pm?! This thing is really disorienting.

Heard from Julia and Cordell... sounds like they had a nice gathering with their dad's family. My sister flew out there today to do it all again tomorrow with my mom and dad. I miss them so much! I can't wait to see all four kids in one place again...

I can't remember if I posted about this before, but Cord is coming here for Christmas, then Clay flies to CA on Boxing Day, and then on January 4, Linc, Cord and I fly into Oakland, pick up Clay, and go up to Sonoma to see my folks and Julia. We'll be together for a few days, then I'm going to hopefully see some friends.

Are you one of the friends I should see? Post a comment and we'll make it happen! I can be in the Bay Area January 7-9. Not sure yet if I'm going to try to get a quick trip up to Davis in or not... but it's possible.
