Being a grup

( There are a few little signs that pop up now and then that remind me of my advanced age. )

So the ability to recover from your own stupid mistakes and still put a halfway decent meal on the Thanksgiving table... it seems to me that this should earn me a Grup Merit Badge or something.

So, anyone out there have any other memorable Big Dinner Disasters Averted stories? I suspect that I'm in good company here!
