so much for keeping this journal up to date. ( well, here's where we're at right now... )

i hope everyone reading this has a wonderful holiday, filled with much laughter and merriment, plenty of delicious treats, and a few surprises to make this year's gathering memorable.

our feast was fabulous. i only wish three things: that we'd had more people sharing it with us, that the mashed potatoes hadn't gotten funky in the crockpot, and that the spanish wine hadn't disappointed me so.
