knit knitty knit knit knit!

i've got big plans for getting some things knit for people for christmas, and it just occured to me yesterday that i'd better concentrate on finishing up the stuff to mail out first... i can be finishing the kids' stuff up to christmas eve, but no such leeway with the USPS.

wish i could say that everyone is getting cashmere socks. sorry! but i'm hoping to have something knittish in everyone's package. we'll see what really happens!

went up north to visit and knit with a homeschool mom friend yesterday, and wound up spending six hours there... the longest i've been away from linc so far, i think. he doesn't seem too scarred by the ordeal.

ok, gotta shower and then back to the needles (i think i have five projects in progress at the moment... serial knitting!).
