Many grrs and a tiny yay

Today has been a day filled with roadblocks and frustration. The house, the mortgage, Clay's classes, Julia's forms, something I'm trying to order... over and over, I keep hitting dead ends, downed computers, voice mails that don't get returned, service people who can't find their nethers with both hands.

I was thiiis close (holding thumb and forefinger together with just a sliver of light between them) to just pitching my phone out the window when I finally got the name and number of the secretary of a person I need to talk to. She was able to pave the way in a manner no other administrative figure I spoke with all day could manage. I know that 99% of all this frustration is just finding the right person who can fix the problem...

...but at least part of my problem is that some of my problems aren't fixable. Who do I call for those?

I finally got around to mailing your Catch Phrase back to you today! I took a screwdriver to the back and removed the batteries so the post office people won't blow it up for beeping at them.
