Fly in to OAK around 11am with Cord and Linc
Pick up rental car, pick up Clayton, rescue Cord's bike
Head up to Petaluma Motel 6, check in and unload van
Go visit Julia and my folks

Sat., Jan. 5:
Breakfast with Stacey and Jesse?
Hang out with my folks
(Spend the night at Motel 6)
Sun., Jan. 6:
Visit with my Aunt Kathy at my folks' house
(Spend the night at Motel 6)
Mon., Jan. 7:
Head to the Bay Area
Brunch/Dinner with ? (genderfur, serenejournal, is this time good for either of you?)
(Spend the evening/night at HALFLAB, Sunnyvale... call my cell and see if we're playing some games, maybe?)
Tue., Jan. 8:
Breakfast/Brunch with any Sunnyvale folks who wanna see us and can play hooky
Drop Cord, Clay and Julia at their dad's for a few hours... Katje & Linc visit with Julia Park Tracey for lunch?
Pick up Julia when she's done at her dad's, head back to Petaluma
(Spend the night at Motel 6)
Wed., Jan. 9:
Visit with my folks and Julia a little more
Head towards Santa Cruz... with a visit to vito_excalibur and/or paulaandandrew?
Dinner or evening visit with the Schuhs?
(Spend the night with sarafoop or qarin's brother?)
Thu., Jan. 10:
Visit with pyrokaren?
Head north... maybe to Shasta?
(sleep wherever we can find shelter!)
Fri., Jan. 11:
Push north
(Crash at Rhys' if we make it to Portland?)
Sat., Jan. 12:
Seattle! Drop Q off at her house
Descend upon Chez Slack
(sleep at josh & megan's)
Sun., Jan. 13:
Hang out with Baby Madeleine, maybe go to the Children's Museum?

Mon., Jan. 14:
If the pass is clear, start east to Ellensburg
(Spend the night at Hollie's)
Tue., Jan. 15:
Hire a sitter to watch the kids because Hollie and I will have stayed up all night gabbing and now must sleeeep
Head on to Harrington
(Spend the night at Harrington)
Wed., Jan. 16:
Cheer up housebound hurt people in Harrington until darling little tyke drives everyone nuts
(Spend the night at Harrington)
Thu., Jan. 17:
Try to cajole mother-in-law to run away to Spokane with me and Linc for the day so we can play with the carousel and the garbage goat
(Spend the night in Spokane or Harrington)
Fri., Jan. 18:
Start panicking about whether I'm going to make it back in time for my flight. Drive.
Drive drive drive drive drive.
Visit with corva in Portland?
(Spend the night in some sleazy little roadside cheapo motel somewhere in Oregon)
Sat., Jan. 19:
Really start panicking because I'm still too far away.
Drive drive drive drive drive.
With luck, make it to Davis and visit Tosi, Cindy, Heather, Eve and Konditorei
(Stay with Cindy or Tosi, or cheesy motel in Redding if I'm lame)
Sun., Jan. 20:
Get back to the Bay Area
Dinner with whomever I didn't get to connect with before I scooted north
(Spend the night at Serene's?)
Mon., Jan. 21:
Breakfast with anyone else I didn't connect with before I scooted north
Return rental car at noon
Fly back to KC; leave at 1:55pm
Land at 7:20pm, which is a pain for Bill because Clay has gymnastics. Sorry, lover!
(Spend the night in my own bed!)

Now I better finish packing...

I should let you know that it looks like I might not be back by then... but I'll try to call and give you lots of warning. I have crash space elsewhere if our timing doesn't work for you. But I really, REALLY hope I get to meet you!

Yes, dinner on Monday should be fine. Brunch not so much, on account of being a working stiff.... *say*, are you going to be in the Moutain View area at lunchtime ever during this adventure? If you are, *please* come have lunch with me at Google (free lunch!). Bring folks, of course. Lotsa kool stuff to play with, too, for kids of all ages, including kids in their 40's.

Oh, ps: in case you haven't already checked the weather, we're having serious storming here. Yeah, yeah, midwesterners can laugh at me, but it -is- raining hard, and will be stormy in the Bay Area all weekend. And you'll be staying in the North Bay, where it's always the worst. FYI and all.

For the record, halflab is not actually in Sunnyvale; it's in Santa Clara. (Your earlier references to Sunnyvale confused me a bit, since as far as I knew I was the only one of the gang still living in Sunnyvale.) I can likely pop by there Monday.
