I remember when Burger King introduced bagel sandwiches - they came with bacon, sausage, or ham. Even as a young child, I was appalled.

Bagels have gone mainstream, alas. But I'll bet that Noah's never sells a bialy!

There's a breakfast/lunch place near my house that decorates for xmas every year: they hang bagels in the window, suspended from alternating red & green ribbons.

I love bialies! I haven't found any out here though. Einstein's and Panera so far are the only bagels around here.
