Gotta hand it to her!
So I finally finished those fingerless gloves...
I wove in the last ends around 9pm last night, called my friend Christina and told her I was comin' over to drop these on her RIGHT NOW because I'm not very patient about things like this. She was quite tolerant of me shaking up her quiet evening, and even seemed pretty happy about her new stulpen:
Here's a close-up of the cable pattern:
And here's one of me with the gloves... sorta superfluous after Christina so beautifully modelled them, but it's a shot of the new glasses. You can't see here, but there's a subtle moiré pattern in the frames that I really love:
OK, now I'll quit yammering about these. But it feels soooo good to have them done, and gifted to someone who likes them!
Now Clay wants a pair too, in black and without the cabling. Shouldn't be too difficult.
