home again

made it back from NY safe and sound. link did great on the planes, what a trooper. exhausted and drained and oh so grateful for my healthy, whole, relatively happy kids. thanks for all the virtual support, it meant a lot (even though i haven't been able to respond).

gotta go fix a stopped up toilet. nice to be needed! yeah, right...

Jiggety jig!

My family always said "Jiggety jig" as we arrived back home. Apparently this went back even further, as I visited my aunt in Winnipeg and she said "Jiggety jig" when we arrived at her apartment.

Sorry to hear what you've been going through recently. I'm sure everyone involved was grateful for your support in a terrible time.

And there's one stopped-up toilet I had NOTHING to do with.

Oh, my dad always said "Home again, home again, jiggety jig!" in a cheerful voice when we got home. I think there was also something about going to market to buy a fat pig, but that usually got left out.
