Viking wire knitting is a nifty way of looping a long strand of wire around a small dowel in a way that you produce a long hollow tube of woven knitting. Then you pull it through gradually smaller holes in a board, and the end result is almost like a fine chain or cord, made of wire. It's a thing I learned at an SCA event, and while I'm not very good at it yet, I'm slowly getting better.

Did you see that Miss Fisher is getting three movies? No more series, but at least we'll see more of her in the near future!
