I have never "owned" a cat so I don't have the brilliant insights or words of wisdom you've asked for... but I know that whatever decisions you make are based on careful consideration of *everyone's* needs (yeah, YOUR needs count too). Since it isn't my decision and I know how much thought you put into everything you do, I'm behind you and support you, whatever you and Bill settle on.
