I feel your pain. I had a cat that I never really liked (but felt obligated toward) who peed all over and had this weird sneezing issue where she would blow nasty green snot all over and it would dry on the walls.
She was around 10 and driving me insane. Every day the bath mat was covered in piss. And she puked too.
Anyway, long story short, I was able to find a veterinarian who did not have a moral objection to putting a young, otherwise healthy(ish) cat with a peeing problem, to sleep. I felt awful about it for awhile but realized it really was the right choice for everyone.
(And lest I get flamed here, I just spent nearly $700 at the ER vet last week for another of my cats and I would do it again because I love each and every one of my cats. But sometimes being pragmatic about a pet and their potential to cause damage to your home and wellbeing is the only valid choice.)
