Lincoln at the new (to us) fountain at Powell Gardens. It was supposed
to be under 90 degrees today, so we took advantage of the clouds and ran
out here for a last visit to one of my favorite KC places. Not sure how
long I'll last.. the humidity is brutal... but Linc's loving the wanter,
and we'll at least go through the new Heartland Harvest Garden (shaped
like a quilt! Sorry we can't bring you out here, Lorraine... I think you
would have appreciated this intersection of two of your interests). The
flowers and plants are going nuts out here... definitely worth the drive
if you can handle the heat.
