Got Clay on his plane and met up with the luminous Serene for fabulous
cheap sushi... the conversation was even more nourishing than the food.
Now I'm knitting on a little baby thing (three of 'em on the way to
friends and family... gotta get 5those needles moving!) while Linc works
off his edamame at the Berkeley Aquatic Park. This is a wonderful spot
just a few yards from the freeway, but feels sheltered and safe. Super
clean (the only graffiti I saw was a smiley face), but all the swings
and fountains are in pristine shape. Someone even left a bar of soap in
the sparkling bathroom. There's a little water squirter in the kiddie
area... the whole playground looks like a Leathers-style community
designed and built park like Rainbow City in Davis.

Once he's tuckered, we can wander back to Petaluma and start filling
boxes. Whee.
