The boys spent a good part of the morning hunting for their
goodie-filled eggs. The bunny did a pretty good job of hiding half at
Lincoln's height, and the rest at a more challenging level for Clay.

Started our feasting with Rhoades cinnamon rolls and Christopher Elbow
Noir mochas, and planning mimosas with Barefoot Pinot Grigio Champagne,
steamed asparagus with lemon butter, diced yams baked with garlic and
olive oil, and a rack of Green Dirt Farms lamb with home-grown rosemary.
Hope you all are enjoying your own special version of the celebration of
springtime!

Bleah and Yeah

Bleah:
• Having both the plates stolen off our one remaining car... possibly in broad daylight. And having to PAY for the replacements, grrr.
• Bill's oral allergy to carrots (and apples and pears) is getting worse... it used to be that cooking carrots would make them okay, but tonight he couldn't eat the carrot cake I made (fortunately, we had some strawberries and cream on hand, so at least he had a consolation treat).

Yeah:
• A day of playing card games, eating fabulous food, talking to far-off family members, and knitting while watching an amazing movie ("Man on Wire," a documentary of the man who walked on a tightrope between the WTC towers).
• Mimosas.
• The little coffee beans Bill "decorated" my bunny-shaped carrot cake with. I bet you can figure out what he did with them...
