Update

So the house was due for auction on Nov. 4, and got no bids. Wachovia set a second auction date -- yesterday -- and again got no bids, either above or below their minimum price (which they wouldn't tell me). Is it wrong for me to be happy about this?

Van's in the shop (brakes and a mysterious burning smell, like rubber). Bill's first phone interview went well. I had four moms and seven kids here for a playgroup that I nearly forgot about. Clay's concert is this weekend. Christmas and California trip and moving again (gotta be out by the end of February) are all looming.

And I'm actually feeling really good today!
