NaNoWriMo: kickin' it off
Nov. 1st, 2008 12:35 pmSo I'm definitely doing NaNoWriMo. There, I said it.
To avoid annoying my entire f-list for a whole month, I'm going to create a filter for NaNo moaning. Er, I mean, progress updates. So go ahead and comment here if you want to be subjected to my writing process.
I'm working on the story I began a while ago, about a girl named Ondine. That first bit of scribbling was 1,647. Can I count that towards my novel? Probably not... but it's still the starting point I'm using, since I don't have anything better at hand. This morning, I slowly extruded 1,393 more. I've got a writing buddy I'm meeting tonight for mutual ass-kicking, however feel free to take on the job yourselves at any time.
Now, off to knock on doors for Obama! Woohoo!
P.S. Last night I was Ashley Todd for Halloween (backwards B and a bad make-up job on a fake black eye). Scary stuff!
