On the way out of Denver, I picked up a couple of cute young tattooed anarchists via Craigslist. While they had each taken pains to create rather harsh exteriors, they were great travel companions. Although the only music on my iPod that they liked were bits of Clay's playlist and fellow puzzler Kid Beyond's beatbox work, they seemed to enjoy "This American Life" and "Fresh Air" (![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jedusor, the George Carlin tribute episode of Fresh Air made me think of you).
Rolled in around 1:30, got to sleep around 3:30, and slept HARD until 11:30. Now I'm just starting to gingerly poke at the gargantuan pile of email, thinking about scanning my flist, and happily staring at my Con photo and pile of pristine puzzles awaiting my attentions.
I don't know if I'm going to write about the Con in depth, but I can say that I had an absolutely FABULOUS time. I'm torn between wanting to try to catalog the highlights and being overwhelmed with all the images and memories... but for the moment, I think I'm gonna play chess with Linc and just focus on having a nice, low-key day with as little driving in it as possible.
