The workmen were still tearing up carpet and staples today, and the
inside of the house was too dusty to bother cleaning yet. So I spent
some time gussying up the outside... threw down a bunch of mulch, set up
a soaker hose, and planted a few vegetables and herbs in the garden;
filled a couple pots with pansies and grasses out front; got Clay to mow
and whack the weeds. It looks pretty nice right now.

Linc and Bill were trying for dual double As tonight... guess who got
it! (Bill was short by ONE 'good,' darnit!) Dunno if he'll get into a
decent college, but he'll get a spot on the Ellen show, at least.
