Merry Clickmas!
Dec. 25th, 2007 11:17 pmCordell got in a bit early, around 11:30pm last night. Too bad he didn't get his luggage for another 45 minutes! But he's here, and that's what matters.

There's one toy I didn't get a good picture of, but I've been happily messing around with it all day: an Oregon Scientific Weather Alert Radio with a Weather Station. These are two nifty things I've wanted for a long time, wrapped up in one cool system. The handheld unit (the radio) hasn't found the local atomic clock signal yet, but the manual says it might take up to 24 hours to locate. Now all I have to do is find the right outdoor spot for the exterior sensor unit. It's very cool and I feel so geeky!
I miss Julia something awful, but it sounds like she's been doing well at my folks' house. Now to get Clay packed and ready to ship out tomorrow, and then make some cookies to send for a NYE party that I can't be at, and maybe send some terribly late holiday cards.
There's also a chance that I might stay around out West a little longer than I originally intended... if I make it up to Seattle, is there anyone who would let a wandering mom and toddler maybe crash for a day or two, hmm?
