Hail from Ann Arbor!
Jul. 13th, 2007 11:46 pmNice little college town, beautiful weather, tons-o-bookstores (including the original Borders), good food, easy to navigate... but the best part of all: plenty of puzzles, games and those who adore them! The annual convention of the National Puzzlers' League has been wonderful so far. The only glitches have been fighting off a cold, a badly timed painful period, and a frustratingly glitchy walking puzzle. Everything else has been fantastic!
Julia is also having a good time, or at least that's what it looks like... I've only seen her in passing for the last few days.
Linc and Bill are having fun in roasty-toasty Spokane, despite his grandmother having taken ill (she's doing better now, I hear).
We all head back home Monday. Dang, it's a long way from KC to AA... about 780 miles. Glad I have the van here, but yeesh. Gonna be a loooong drive home. Good thing I snagged that new release from They Might Be Giants (The Else).
By the way: Happy Anniversary, sweetie! Four years since that terrific party in Davis, and I'm looking forward to lots more! I love you!
Back to the late-night puzzle party...
