a real stinker

i'm hesitant to post this after that delicious description of thanksgiving delicacies... but it's been a rough couple of days. linc picked up some sort of stomach flu, his first ever, and it's been a bad one. hooray for nursing, modern washers & dryers, and aromatherapy!

he's doing better now, and bill was able to stay home a bit this morning so i could get some deep sleep (because when you are snoozing next to a little barf grenade, you never really get much rest), so we're all on the end stage of this mess. and what a mess. both ends fully involved... well, i'll spare you any more details, but in the words of a very wise man i know: babies are icky! (fortunately they are also charming, funny, snuggly, sweet and adorable, which is why we keep 'em around).

in other news: new haircut; pic coming soon. got roped into doing one more weekend of childcare at the church; will leave linc home this time. cord has finished GED testing; four weeks until we hear results. bill and i are thinking about a trip out west during the holidays. got needle felting supplies; it's very fun!

back to my washerwoman duties (i shouldn't complain... bill did at least three loads last night).
