from [livejournal.com profile] lunchboy:
1. Leave a comment saying you want to be interviewed.
2. I'll reply and give you some number(*) of questions to answer.
3. You'll update your LJ with the questions answered.
4. You'll include this explanation (if you haven't already).
5. You ask other people questions when they want to be interviewed. And it just keeps going, and going, and going....

*usually five, less if I am lazy.

just a quick update, 'cos i don't wanna get too far behind...

on friday, i finally got the IJA contract stuff dealt with, plus a bunch of other festival stuff. clay watched linc while i was on the phone, so to thank him we walked down to the shops and got him a meatball sandwich. later that night, julia watched the baby so bill and i could go out to dinner (thai! mmm) and a showing of "the big lebowski" at a tiny theater here (we got two of the ten red leather recliners!), complete with white russians. the dude abides, and i found comfort in that.

saturday, bill made a pumpkin pie, and a wonderful pie it was. watched "roman holiday" with the kids, a thoroughly charming movie. solved a puzzle boat puzzle (finally!). i must've done more than that but honestly don't remember.

today, did the last of the childcare sessions for the UU church. it was a mob scene. i am so not cut out for taking care of kids. i am so glad that is over. but it was fun hanging with julia. got home and snuck in a nap that stretched for three hours! sat on the front porch in the dusk eating popcorn while linc played in the leaves and i chatted with julia. knit a bit while cord and his friend denis played monkeyball with no sound and the "night tides" program played (a local version of "hearts of space" that goes for four hours). bill made deep dish pizza from scratch, yummers. got a phone call from a friend of julia's saying that she got us a pack of the holiday edition of jones soda, whoopeeee! read another chapter of "penultimate peril" to the kids. linc's 15 months today.

i think we're gonna do an orphan's thanksgiving, instead of a full-blown turkeyfest the week before. i don't think we can afford to do two big meals a week apart. anyone local reading this, who wants to come for dinner on thanksgiving, give me the heads-up and i'll fill you in on the details!

ok. gonna go give bill something to pay attention to besides warcrack.
