getting so much better all the time....

finally got in to see a chiropractor yesterday, eric rasmussen over in kansas. he said there wasn't any disc damage, which was a relief, and did some chiro-ish stuff. i am definitely feeling better, though still sore and achey. this is going to take a long time to heal, and i am not a patient person.

two sweet friends came by yesterday, too... kelly brought some pals for clay to hang out with, took linc for a walk, fed me mashed 'taties and made up my bed for me. christina cleaned up my living room, took care of linc for a bit, and brought me a birthday gift: a cool geometrical picture and a ring in the shape of a blue whale. they really cheered me up, bless their hearts.

looks like bill and i will be doing the next IJA festival. whee!

watched "antwone fisher" last night with julia. it was better than i thought it would be, and i was surprised to see that the guy also wrote the screenplay. two thumbs up.

cord is coming back to KC thursday. i've missed him a lot... hope i'll be able to drive by then.

linc is starting to stand on his own! walking is coming quickly, i bet...
