(no subject)

poor little baby got the cold, too, and i've been spending the last few days either being a human pacifier, getting slimed by his sneezes, or doing the happy dance after getting him to sleep. he's been fairly happy considering it's his first illness, but it's always hard to see one of your kids sick. i finally shook this thing myself yesterday... took a while to finish coughing and feeling punk. a nasty disease and i'm glad to see the end of it.

over the weekend, linc recognized a sign! bill made the sign for nursing when linc got fussy, and the baby got all happy and excited... he knew what it meant! woo hoo!

bill brought his new passport home yesterday, and i was surprised at the wave of pure jealousy that came over me. he's going to europe to hobnob with his fellow wizards and i'm driving kids to class and washing diapers. yeah, yeah, i know i wanted to have another baby but i can still have a dose of wanderlust in me! sigh. someday he'll be mighty bigshot scientist and can finagle having his wife come along too. hopefully before i'm in diapers myself.

watched "the triplets of belleville" last night. what a FABULOUS movie! if you haven't seen it, please give yourself a treat and rent it soon.
