the ten-things meme

things i have done that you probably haven't:

1. walked within 10 feet of a full-grown wild elephant seal bull
2. fallen out of a raft on a whitewater rafting trip... twice
3. got my orthodontic headgear caught in some girl's afro on BART and nearly incited a race riot
4. spent 12 hours floating rudderless on a fishing boat until the coastguard could tow us in... and was the only one, out of six people (including the owner of the boat) who didn't get seasick during that time
5. pierced someone else's navel
6. met leonard nimoy on the steps of the capitol of california
7. interviewed jon pertwee (the third dr. who)
8. untangled and delivered triplet goats
9. slaughtered a couple hundred rabbits (before the age of 14... and then none after that)
10. commissioned an ice sculpture of a pregnant woman

hm. i wish i could come up with more interesting stuff... but i think instead i'm coming down with a cold.

my digital camera is sorta messed up, so i didn't get as many pictures as i would have liked. and of the ones i did get, not many turned out that great. oh well! here's a link to three that were kinda cute: yarn, gates and bath.
