big shot!

there's a chance that bill's research will be taking him to FRANCE later this year! it's not a done deal, but oh my! big shot researcher, jetsetting all over the place (he's headed to UCDavis this weekend for more research... and coincidentally, the Damento juggling festival, whaaa!)

almost done with all the thank you notes from christmas. just need to print out some pictures to stick in with 'em, then they're off. whew!

also i've been working on a little baby hat for a friend's new little one... finished the earflap hat for linc, and it was so cute i had to make another one, but all the yarn i had was leftover from his sweater. it should work fine for a smaller baby. also on the needles is a chemocap for a friend with brain cancer... super soft chincilla yarn (a pretty purpley-blue color, inexplicably named "emulsion"). aaaand last but not least (i can't just read one book at a time, either), a little goodie for my sister, whose birthday is next week.

clay starts his filmmaking class tomorrow, should be fun! and i'm still hammering on that IJA brochure, but all the text is done and layout should be a breeze after that.
