Well, I'll do it if my cheapo ebay violin can give any hint of a tone. It's so heartening to read all the "why not to be a violin on ebay" posts from real violinists, who refer to them as "violin shaped objects", but I think it'll work out OK. It can always be wall decoration, anyway.
