We're at Oliver's market, picking up lambchops and other goodies to make

a nice Mother's Day dinner for my folks. This is a very nice young fella

at the cheese counter who was willing to talk Mimolette lice and Purple

Haze chevre and so on.

also found some wild yogurt in a crock (St. Benoit), very cool.... got

the Meyer lemon flava. And some Bogle pinot, fingerling potatoes, and

other goodies... yum!

Wait... you are in Penngrove, CA? I grew up there! Haha! There is a totem pole out in front of the elementary school there. Behind it, there is a wall of tiles. I made one of them! Haha. The legend lives on...

Did you really? When I was little, Penngrove was the place we went to visit "Grandma and Grandpa with the goats" (as opposed to my father's parents). :P

I seem to remember having this conversation with you about a hundred years ago... I moved to Penngrove in '78, my HS sophomore year. Went to Petaluma high... were you PHS or Casa?

What's on your tile? Next time I go through, I'll be sure to find it and stick some gum to it or something ;-)
