most of the knit gifts are done. now i have fallen in love with needle felting, and am busily stabbing my little foam pad as fast as i can. i don't know if i'll get everything done that i want to before christmas, but i'm trying...

i want to post pictures of everything, but it would ruin the surprise for several of you! still, i can say that one gift has been adopted by my whole family, and in order to send it to its recipient, i've had to promise to make another to replace it.

awesome. My mom just showed me a needle felting kit while i was home - it looks pretty cool. (er, supposing you're into felting, which for some reason, i'm not terribly.) I think Colleen would really dig it.

I'm so impressed that you've managed to make christmas presents. I meant to, but i just haven't gotten to it. I ended up buying some stuff in Hawaii instead, and now i'm off the hook for a lot of people. Its not really cheating, is it?

btw, i understand we'll see you over the holidays? yay!

needle felting is sort of painting with wool. there's a LOT of potential... i'm just making messy scrawls right now, but i can see how you could do some pretty awesome things with it. unfortunately, the tools are very dangerous to babies and i only can do it when linc is absolutely unconconscious or in bill's tender care.

yes, we're coming up there probably around january 3. it's gonna be me, bill, julia and linc. i think we'll be in seattle for two or three days... can we once again impose upon you? i'll email you our info when we nail down our flights... can't wait!
