Amidst the chaos, a good thing

It has taken me an embarrassingly long time to finish this project, but I really wanted to get it done before moving. I am happy to say that this morning I achieved that goal, and will put it into the mail for its recipient, the fabulous paulaandandrew, first thing tomorrow.

I just want to tell you that I really appreciate that kindness you showed me giving me that ride after my car accident. I feel like I've been remiss in returning the favor and regret not getting together with you again since. I wish you the best of things in Chicago and maybe our paths will cross again up there!
