Tiny greasy spoon 2.5mi from new house, Beatles and ELO blaring, guys
in suits cutting deals, lineup of retired guys at the counter flirting
with wise-cracking waitresses, super fast service (coffee hit the table
before I sat down), local rye toast, house copy of the Sun-Times, a guy
straight out of central casting starring as the fry cook, best hash
browns I've had in years, delish scramble crammed with juicy
off-the-bone ham... see all that food? UNDER TEN BUCKS.

I think Chicago likes me!
