It occurred to me just now that I didn't post a pic of my new hair: cut
and touch-up color with a couple reddish highlights. I've decided to
embrace the curls, and try to work with them for a while instead of
brushing them out. I might get it a bit more layered to get the curls
happening higher up, too... we'll see. Anyway, since I've already
learned how to tame Linc's curls, we'll see if the same treatment can
bring out my own.

Cute! Speaking as someone without a curl to my name, I'm envious of those who have them, and glad you've chosen to go with them. If it were me, I'd try a few blond highlights along the curl to bring out the texture and add the appearance of greater thickness/curl...

Great color and curls. :) Agree with previous suggestions for layers and even lighter highlights to really show off the shape. (I've started doing platinum blond highlights in mine, which means I can get away with the creeping gray a little longer before I have to color again.)
