Mixed emotions

Bill didn't get the Manhattan (KS) job.

I am simultaneously sad and, well, not happy, but relieved. I know this whole process is so wrenching for Bill, and getting told "no" again is teh suxxor.

I'm sorry for Bill's sake that he didn't get offered the job. I'm NOT sorry that you guys won't be moving to the Little Apple ;)

Something better for BOTH of you will come along. Until then I am blessed to have your family as local friends. It will stink when you finally get to leave. Yep, I'm pretty selfish!

I send you more hugs. At least you'll feel more like unpacking the boxes in the great new house you're moving to. Don't know if that's good or bad.
