Day of many tears

The tears of laughter, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] klwalton. Oh, god, my cheeks are hurting! Ow ow ow!

The other kind came from Wachovia or Citibank or Wells Fargo or whoever the hell owns our mortgage: it's certain now. We're being foreclosed on, and the house is due to go to auction in early December. Time to go get the mower.

That sucks. It ended up working out ok for my brother. They "sold" the house for the value + amount of taxes he owed so he walked away without owing anything. He was relieved.
