Wall Drug

Otherwise... a snowy, rainy, dreary driving day, lightened with a
wonderful rendition of C.S. Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch and the

same series, gifted to us by Uncanny (thank you, thank you, thank

Sure, you know Michael York -- he was the male lead in Cabaret. Also in Logan's Run, and D'artagnan in the Richard Lester Three/Four Musketeers.

And the agent boss in Austin Powers.

Wall Drug! Boy, does that take me back to the magical world of my childhood!

Glad you like the CDs!

when I first went to Wall Drug (1962) it was a small building not a whole block plus. They had 5 cent a cup coffee, and continued to advertise the 5 cent cup for many years. Do they still do that, and free ice water?

They were indeed still advertising both!
