But as for the criticism about Muntz dying, and the comment that that is just poor writing? People die without redemption. In fact people sometimes just die. Only in Hollywood do people seem to be invincible. Why are we trying to protect our children from reality? Wile Coyote may not have died, but bambi's mum did. Ellie did too. Maybe Muntz' death didn't fit with the rest of the corny unrealistic nature of the rest of the movie, but not every part of a story has to moral.
