Aw, good for him. I'm really glad that you're doing things this way--I don't like the idea of lying to kids, and I think explaining the Santa spirit like that is a great way around that particular cultural expectation of a lie.

The other kids aren't wild, greedy little brats, though. They were taught how the world is just like Linker was, and they're behaving accordingly. Don't blame them for that.
