I want this clock that awakens you with the dulcet tones of Stephen Fry as Jeeves, saying things like:

"The prime minister called again, madam. I told him you weren't available, of course. We shan't be treated like that again!"

So Bill and I have had a series of miscommunications lately, resulting
in me getting picked up late twice and coming home late at night to a
dark front porch. I knew none of this was intentional, but I also felt
sort of forgotten and unwelcomed, and shared this feeling with Bill. So
tonight, when he got home before I did, he thought something along the
lines of "I'd better make sure the freaking front porch lights are on
tonight." Then he decided to add a few more lamps, and then candles, and
then he found the bag of little votives... the result was a very
welcoming visage indeed. It's nice to be remembered (and Linc got to
blow out all the candles... now he's saying "I liked that party, Mama!
That was so fun!").
